Quick cover I did for my latest fic, Tiny Equine in Everfree. It’s a really silly fic, so I cobbled together a really silly cover page. I basically intended for it to look like a five-year-old drew it, so didn’t allow myself to really go back and erase and barred myself from blending.
Submission for Artist Training Grounds’s week 103 theme: draw a pony flying circus. Obvious low-hanging fruit is obvious.
This is my submission for the Artist Training Grounds’s week 102 theme: draw a pony pastime past time pony (Yes, I was in one of those moods ). Soon she will finish drifting toward a certain past time.
Using such a twisty pose was a bit weird when it was at the line art stage (particularly the falling and bracing position of the hind legs), but it all came together once I started detailing her.
Wow, been a while since I’ve done multiple submissions. Really couldn’t resist doing this one, though.
This is my second submission to the Artist Training Grounds’s week 101 theme: draw a humanized pony. Just a dumb little idea I had to do. Kept the style closer to the actual EqG’s because it wouldn’t really work otherwise.
This is my first submission for the Artist Training Grounds’s week 101 theme: draw a humanized pony. With Equestria Girls on the horizon, this kind of speculation was inevitable. The style is inspired, rather than imitated because I’m not really a fan of the twig thinness they have going on. Also, no skirt, mostly because in day-to-day Dusky really wouldn’t go for that (she wouldn’t be afraid to pull them out for special occasions, though).
For those who know about the little extra protection she brings with her, her humanized form keeps it in the back of the sash, rather than her scarf.
This is my submission for the Artist Training Grounds’s week 100 theme: draw an epic pony. The Princess of Magic is pretty epic on her own. Now throw in using her magic to celebrate an epic number of ATG weeks.
On a side note, putting in so many objects was… interesting (so much light reflection!).
Pinkie will keep your stuff safe (FOR-EVER!). Comes with green and blue cupcake keys. Stick either in her eye to open the tooth compartment.
This is my submission for the Artist Training Grounds’s week 99(!!!) theme: draw a safe pony. So I did.
The line art of this was actually kind of horrifying. She’s still a bit uncanny valley to me, but at least in colour most of that initial vibe is gone. Also, it felt really weird to detail Pinkie’s hair with my solid colour method.
This is the new cover for my latest one-shot fanfic, Among Ponies. It’s a short little 3200 word fic where I have a bit of fun toying with a few cliches. I’ve decided I’m not really a fan of the clunky DA fic system, so I’m just going to post it to FIMFic and link it.
