Using this 30 minute sketch (yay for reference pics), I go back in time. Twlight is on her way to make some friends. Even though she doesn’t want to.

No Contest Creations 
This is definitely one of my top favourites. You’ve got the shading, and it’s not overdone – better than some of your previous drawings. Even the pose and expression are quite thoughtful and pro-illustrator looking. =D You should do more of these types.
Well, it probably looks a bit more pro since I essentially worked directly off a reference for this one. So I owe the pose and expression to the original FiM artists. This is also level adjusted, so the shading (well, the entire sketch) is much lighter in real life. I’ll keep in mind where I positioned the shading for future drawings, though.
