This is my submission for the Artist Training Grounds’ week 71 theme: Nightmare Night Frights. Admittedly, there isn’t very much fright involved, but a young Dusky is decked out in a Daring Do costume, so there’s plenty of Nightmare Night going on.

Which to me says “costumes, costumes, costumes.” Which is great, because Hallowe’en puts me in a bit of a costume-y mood. Too bad I usually don’t have the time/motivation to get something good together. Oh, well, I’ll just live vicariously through Nightmare Night. 😛
Anyway, Twilight dons her Clover the Clever costume again while Luna takes up the mantle of Star Swirl. And they both seem to be getting into character.

This is my submission for the Artist Training Grounds’ week 67 theme: draw a pony of the Night. My first instinct was to make a Phantom of the Opera reference, but I felt like doing something a little more silly. So in combination with watching It’s About Time again and playing too much Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I came up with a different idea.
I figure if after three days of not sleeping, she’s loopy enough to decided she needs to infiltrate a friendly stronghold in a ridiculous skin tight spy catsuit, this is about on par with her loopiness.
Fulfilling a request from the author of Surprise Days, NoGiantRobots1983, to draw a header image for his fic.
And before anyone asks, Surprise’s colours are her G1 colours (neon green hair with a vaguely cream tinted white for her coat), not the Pinkie Pie blonde-white precursor.

This is my submission for the Artist Training Grounds’ week 65 theme: draw a wealthy pony. What’s the most valuable thing in the world? Gold? Money? Power? Or perhaps, friendship. Way I see it, these six are the wealthiest girls I’ve ever seen.
It’s a bit rushed, but I’m still fairly happy with how it turned out.
Well, I let my Twi like OCD get the best of me, resulting in this remake of the fic’s original cover about 9 months after I finished the last chapter of the fic. How completely out of proportion and full of mistakes it was really bugged me. No regrets, though, as this is one of my absolute best Twi drawings on par with what I currently consider my best drawing. I’m almost afraid to look at my fic again, for fear of seeing a dozen things I want to fix in the first few pages and getting the urge to do what I’ve done with the cover.
Anyway, I’ll be rolling this out to the places I have my fic at first opportunity when it’s not stupid ‘o clock in the morning.
