Just a couple friends having some fun.
I decided to push myself to be even sparser than my last couple marker works. Thought it might be a good time for some experimentation too, so I broke out a Faber-Castell PITT pen I hadn’t had a chance to give a go at for the outlines. Despite the roughness of me goofing off, I like the way this style turned out.
Yep! Although, I mostly just keep modifying the same base costume. Maybe I should stop encouraging people… The photographer even told me he was having trouble finding a picture where I was visible as an excuse for being late. That’s just silly.

As Dusky delves deeper into the Necromancer’s past, she comes to the realization the conversation has been a bit one-sided. Bonds of all kinds abound in chapter 8 of the Necromancer’s Ambition.
Dusky’s tale has been spotlighted on Equestria Daily! In celebration, I have posted chapter 7 early, in which Dusky delves farther into the darkness surrounding the Necromancer’s path. So head on over to the story to find that.
This, alongside a couple others, is one I keep particularly close to my heart. I often come back to it when I’m thinking of my parents.

Decided to try playing with the markers again, this time going for a messy marker style. I think the end result is more the first two than the third, though. Oh, well, gotta start somewhere. The more generous use of negative space also made them look pretty buff. Guess that explains how Twi could carry Tom by herself? 😛
I may have also not noticed that I had a lighter pink until I was partway into colouring Pinkie, so that’s why she’s ridiculously pink (even for Pinkie).
