This is my submission for the NATG2013 day 24 theme: draw a pony facing their destiny or on a date. Adventure follows Dusky wherever she goes, especially when she’s on the road. But she enjoys traveling too much to let that stop her. So she strides forward, meeting her destiny head-on.
This is my submission for the NATG2013 day 23 theme: draw a pony litigating or a professional pony. Dusky is a professional weather pony and used to coaxing rain out of thunderheads. Do not try this at home.
This is my submission for the NATG2013 day 22 theme: draw a pony in a competition or duel. This is a scene from a piece of Dusky’s past I haven’t really touched on too much. When she was younger, naive and bent on heroism, she crossed the infamous Leaf Sister Cartel. This eventually led to a showdown between Dusky and the younger of the two Leaf sister, Autumn Leaf. Two mares fought and one walked out alive.
This is my submission for the NATG2013 day 21 theme: draw an exhausted pony or a pony burning out. Weather work can be exhausting for a pegasus and despite her fitness, this is no exception for Dusky. Sometimes she just wants to come home, flop on the couch and catch a few Zs.

My submission for the NATG2013 day 20 theme: draw a furious pony or a pony burning up. This was originally conceived as the face Dusky would make at anyone threatening her friends or family. Because my Internet has also been a huge pile of useless tonight (running into minute-long sessions of dropping 100% packets), this is also the face she was making at my Internet. Because Dusky isn’t Fluttershy, it didn’t quite step back into line right away, but it eventually did. Annnnd I’m way too tired to be writing this. >.>
This is my submission for the NATG2013 day 19 theme: draw a pony working out or in training. People joke that Dusky is a ninja, but really, that’s a better descriptor for her mom. Dusky is just the every-girl, training hard every day, doing her best to keep up with her mom’s regimen and to be ready to defend the ones she loves.
This is my submission for the NATG2013 day 18 theme: draw a pony dreaming/with a plan. A couple can’t always be together, but the other is often in their thoughts. And so Dusky dreams of Invidlord’s Night Flurry while she takes a short break from her travels.
