This is my submission for the NATG2013 day 9 theme: draw a pony with swapped manes/made over.

For the design, I wanted to go a little frilly, but without pushing things too far, since “simple, but elegant” is Dusky gravitates toward. So I mostly ran a single colour and gave the edges a sort of “pleated” look to make it look airy. I also like big sashes with big bows, but I couldn’t get either to really work. The bow in particular looked just limp and dead. So I went with the next best thing: a thinner sash with excessively long ends after the knot! ;P
