This is my second submission for the Artist Training Grounds’ week 19 theme: draw a pony being pranked. I bet we all know who did this one.
No references at all here. I wish I had had one because this pose was a major pain. Her right hind leg gave me issues.
Took about 2.5 hours using 2H-HB-2B trio and my older style of shading.
When you’re Pinkie Pie, sometimes you get the fourth wall and sometimes it gets you.

Done in roughly 110 minutes using 2H-HB-2B trio, hybrid shading.
Ugh, hands! I think it turned out kind of okay. I heavily referenced my own. >.> Almost didn’t need a reference for Pinkie, but the pose was giving me a bit of trouble. I also had to make a quick check of how many bumps were on each side of her tail.
I realized Applejack hasn’t been getting any love lately as far as my drawings have been concerned, so I decided I needed to draw her. I was originally going to do a badass Twilight, so I went ahead and kept the badass part for Applejack. Looks like somepony’s been picking on her friends and she ain’t having any of that.
Done in roughly 105 minutes, 2H-HB-2B trio using my hybrid style.
This was done mostly without reference. I had to do some light double checking here and there since I hadn’t drawn her. Then I got to the hat. Luckily, S2E2 gave me some easily attainable references for different angles that would help me cobble something together for the position I wanted. Despite all that, I think I still made it a bit undersized. 
Okay… this was a real task to deal with (it’s a blink and you miss it kind of frame that’s part of Lesson Zero’s animation of Twi nuzzling Smartypants near the end). So many things at so many different depths. o.O
Totally worth it, though, because it goes to show that even inone of her most deranged states of minds, Twilight can still be incredibly adorable.
Crazy Twi’s hair was really fun to play with but holy crap did it take a long time to do.

This is my third submission for the Artist Training Grounds’ week 18 theme: draw a pony in her Nightmare Night costume. I wanted to get some more Rarity practice in and so I ended up going for a fairly obvious joke costume.
This took about 2 hours, using 2H-HB-2B trio and hybrid shading. This was almost done entirely without reference, but I had to look up her tail at the end because I forgot how to di it.
Some stuff is a little rough, like I’m not sure about the shading ont he rock, but I was running out of time. On the other hand, I’m really proud of how her face turned out, so yay.
This was kind of a major practice piece for me. I drew almost entirely without reference until the initial sketch was laid out, then tried to use minimal references to make adjustments. I also wanted to try drawing tears again, because the last time I tried drawing them, they kind of sucked. I definitely improved from last time, but I’m not really sure how I did overall.
Anyway, since I needed to do tears, I had to do a crying Twilight. Which meant she either needed to be sad, hurt so badly she’s crying, or overjoyed. Since I beat up on her enough as it is, I went with overjoyed. What is she so happy about? Who knows? Maybe she got Smartypants back.

Well, this is something of a request from Fox_E. After he found out I snowboarded, he told me I needed to draw Dusky snowboarding, so I did. I rarely draw OCs on their own these days, not even my own, so this felt a little weird.
This took me about 2 hours, hybrid style using 2H-HB-2B.
This was a challenging pose and I struggled to get the visible wing to look right, but it was totally worth it. Snowboard is a little rough, but I was kind of improving, trying to come up with a design for a heavy four legged animal. The only real stipulation on me from the request was to have Dusky using her wing power to accelerate, so I had to choose a positioning that would let her flap her wings and not have it knock her over. Other than that, I think I maybe have misplaced her shadow a bit.

While yesterday’s was the most horrifying thing I’ve drawn, today’s is one of the strangest designs I’ve ever come up with. Anyway, alternate costume Pinkie could have been wearing instead of the chicken outfit. Totally her style.
Took about 90 mins using 2H-HB-2B and using my hybrid style again. Tail’s a little rough (I think I might have messed up on the way the hairs go for this perspective, but I’m not sure what other way it could have gone), but otherwise it turn out all right.
This is quite possibly the most horrifying thing I have ever drawn. And yes, that includes the gored Twilight I drew for For Want of Friendship. >.>
This was originally going to be starry eyed Twilight from Lesson Zero, but after I finished everything other than her pupils, I realized that expression could easily mutate. So i tried adding compressed pupils instead.
Done in 90 minutes with the 2H-HB-2B trio. The detailing job is a hybrid of my two other styles and I think it works pretty well.
EDIT: Uploaded new version. I somehow managed to forget her lower lashes on her left eye.
Just look at that face, the poor girl really needs ’em.
Anyway, drew this one, even though I tend not to draw sad Twi, because I couldn’t resist the sad kitty eyes. I almost underestimated just how huge Twi’s mane gets when she’s frazzled. I was about 1cm away from running out of page.
Done in 50 mins with a 2H, level adjusted.
