MLP: FiM – Late Night Study Buddies
I haven’t worked with graphite in a while, so it was nice to do a full-detail drawing with it again. My original concept was to have Smarty Pants holding Twi’s head in a sort of guardian-like way. However, even as a filly, her head is too big to full lay in Smarty’s lap. So I went with the next-best thing. I also experimented a bit with that weird “discernible hooves” thing, because why not?

MLP: FiM – NATG2013 Day 30 – Filly Adventure
This is my submission for the NATG2013 day 30 theme: draw any previous theme or all themes, emphasis mine. Having done the “all themes” choice the last couple times, I decided to change things up a bit. So I went back and grabbed the NATG2011 day 6 theme: draw a pony as a filly or colt. Even as a filly, Dusky had a strong sense of curiosity and adventure.
In honour of the day 30 theme, I also decided to run with my fully shaded style. I played a bit more with the colour ranges, employing lighter colours where I could. The result is something with a bit more volume and vibrancy.

This is my submission for the NATG2013 day 28 theme: draw a pony struggling or stretching. Decided to just play this one completely straight. Being somepony who often works a tough training regimen into her day, Dusky likes to get warmed up with a little stretching.
