This is my third submission for the Artist Training Grounds’ week 50 theme: draw a pony underground. Because Burrowtosh is totally still partially underground here.

This turned out to be quite the blending challenge for me. Mostly because it was tough to get the discorded colours for his coat to look okay. And then that was even before adding shadowing. Which brings me to my big overall mistake: not using higher lb. paper. A good example of where the layers ended up kind of gross is on his snout. It really ended up not taking the shape I wanted and nothing I did would fix it.
