Ummm… kind of, I guess? If “listen to Dash rant about the Daring Do Nightmare Moon Saga” counts, anyway.

Which I guess is more or less true, since I’m usually finalizing my travel plans around that time. That is, if one can consider a few months “around the corner,” anyway.
((Did a bit of a stylistic experiment here. I think I might have to fiddle around a bit more with it.))

This is my third submission for the Artist Training Grounds’ week 37 theme: draw a pony movie poster. This is one of three goofy movie poster imitation ideas that I thought of for finishing up the week. I couldn’t do all three and this is the one that ended up winning out.
To make this work, I kind of had to follow the fanon assumption that Belle is Rarity’s family name.
This was a 3.5 hour project using my 2H-HB-2B trio.
This is my second submission for the Artist Training Grounds’ week 37 theme: draw a pony movie poster. This was kind of a random idea I got when I was looking for episodes that would make good epic movie posters. I figure this would be one of those “based on a true story” renditions of the events of the season 1 pilot episodes.
Doing the moon as a sort of peep hole to Nightmare Moon was interesting. Mostly because it makes her look a little weird. But also because the eye positioned that way is a little freaky.
I also considered silhouettes of the rest of the main six themselves, but ended up going with the cutie marks because they’re more distinct given the form.
Took me a bit over 5 hours overall with Prismacolors.
They do say that variety is the spice of life. I think I’m inclined to agree.

Wow, okay, finally done this. This is my first submission for the Artist Training Grounds’ week 37 theme: draw a pony movie poster. This is basically what I came up with when I wondered what a poster might look like for our IRC RP if it were a movie.
There were way too many colour schemes involved in this for so short a project. Next time I’ll have to either hold back or spend another half dozen hours on it.
This ran me about 11 hours over 3 days.
As far as the cast goes, from left to right:
Above the sign:

For my longer trips, no. Most ponies don’t have the same unique schedule as me, nor the same urge to spend months visiting places most of them have never heard of. I did have a friend along for my recent day trip to Fetlock Falls, though.
((Night Flurry is said friend.))

Also doubling this up as my third submission for the Artist Training Grounds’ week 36 theme: draw a pony traveling. And there’s two ponies traveling here (yay).
